Bexhill and Battle Reform UK held a well attended Special General Meeting on the 3rd December 2025 in Bexhill. Members turned out in impressive numbers for an important step in the formal establishment of the local Branch.
The elections moved smoothly. Each candidate delivered a short address before members cast their votes, all five were unanimously elected.
The newly confirmed 2025/2026 Branch Officers are:
Chair, Victoria Carson
Victoria brings years of experience as a freelance production accountant in the film and television sector where she managed tight budgets and complex reporting for major projects. She is active in local community groups and is driven by a desire to secure a safer and more stable country for the next generation.
Deputy Chair, Richard Callan
Richard has a long background in advertising and media planning. His early career included senior work in national broadcast and print environments before progressing to leadership roles within major international agency groups. He later built and ran his own successful agency for twenty five years. He has supported the Branch for the last eighteen months and brings strong strategic and communication skills.
Treasurer, Susan Peck
Susan is a long standing Bexhill resident with more than twenty years of experience in financial services, including work for a large international bank as a personal and business financial consultant. She has extensive charity governance experience through her leadership roles with local organisations. Her background covers financial control, contractor payments and preparation of end of year accounts.
Secretary, Deborah Blake
Deborah spent many years as the national sales manager for a well known consumer brand. She has seen first hand the pressures placed on high street businesses in recent years and supports a political direction that encourages enterprise rather than hinders it. She brings strong organisational and communication skills to the team.
Campaign Manager, Pete Morley
Pete has over thirty years of experience as managing director of several companies that he founded and developed himself. His work spans international sales, marketing and large scale campaign delivery. As an elected Reform UK councillor in the local area he has a clear understanding of community needs and grassroots engagement, making him well suited to lead local campaigning efforts.

After the vote, the meeting opened to supporters for the general session. Refreshments were served and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming with plenty of questions from the floor after each update.
Richard Callan outlined the progress made this year and the preparations for next year. The new Branch website and volunteer system was introduced, while Pete Morley highlighted the new Facebook page and WhatsApp broadcast group. Members also heard informative presentations about the life of a councillor and encouraged more residents to step forward as potential candidates.
The evening also included a well received address from Sussex Mayoral candidate Paul Linehan, one of his first public appearances since being announced. His message on accountability and giving Sussex a stronger voice was warmly received.
Chair, Victoria Carson closed the evening by outlining plans for the coming year and encouraging everyone to complete volunteer interest forms. A raffle helped raise funds for local campaigning. Reform UK in Bexhill and Battle heads into 2026 with a full team, strong momentum and a clear plan.
