About Me

I have spent my career in advertising and media, focusing on communication strategy rather than the content of the messaging itself. My work has primarily involved negotiating with the media, planning media strategies to reach defined audiences with maximum efficiency and impact, and analysing data to make informed recommendations on where clients should invest their budgets.

I began my advertising career at 17 as a traffic clerk in the advertising department of ITV London, before moving into sales and negotiating airtime with London’s agencies. At 21, I joined the Daily Mail, and in my mid-twenties returned to ITV in a sales management role. I later joined the Saatchi and Saatchi Group as a Deputy Media Director, leading strategic media planning. This was during a period when Saatchi was growing into one of the UK’s foremost advertising groups.

During the consolidation of the UK advertising industry, I served as director of several agencies before founding my own. This I ran successfully for 25 years prior to retirement. My professional skills include business management, strategic planning, communications, and data analysis.

I was last politically active during the Thatcher era, when the nation faced serious challenges as they do again today. While I have no ambition for frontline politics, I am happy to support Reform UK in back-office roles, both nationally and locally, to help restore our country after decades of mismanagement.
