Cllr Dan Bradley: First Meetings and Conversations

I’m Dan Bradley, following the elections on May 7th 2026, I’m the Reform County Councilor for Rye & Eastern Rother, I was also elected to Rother District Councilor, as the District Councillor for Rye & Winchelsea.

I am incredibly honoured and grateful to have been elected to represent residents at both District and County level. Thank you to every single person who placed their trust in me and supported the campaign over the past weeks. Whether you voted for me or not, I will work hard to represent the whole community fairly and openly.

This result sends a clear message that people want stronger local representation, greater accountability, and real action on the issues affecting our communities. I would like to thank the candidates from all parties who put themselves forward in this election and took part in the democratic process.

I look forward to listening to residents, being visible in our communities, and working tirelessly for Rye, Winchelsea and Eastern Rother. The hard work starts now.

DAN BRADLEY

On the 12th May, I attended my first official duties following the election, meeting with councillors at Rye Town Council and Icklesham Parish Council at Rye Harbour.

It was a really positive opportunity to listen to local councillors, discuss the issues affecting our communities, and talk about how I can support residents and work constructively alongside local councils going forward.
From local services and infrastructure to community facilities and coastal issues, there is a lot of work ahead — but I’m looking forward to getting started and being a visible, active and approachable councillor.
